About Our Chef and Vision

Harpreet Sohal was born and raised in New Delhi, India. After getting married, she moved to New York City at the age of 32 with her husband and three children.

Although she loved the energy in New York, she missed the affection and warmth of India but she soon realized what her purpose would be.  After becoming ill, Harpreet decided that life was too short and that it was time to pursue her passion of cooking healthy nutritious meals for others while bringing that Indian heritage of warmth and affection into her new city.

In 2007 after a full recovery, Harpreet started her dream of creating a tiffin meal service for people who miss home-cooked Indian meals and for New Yorkers who love Indian cuisine.

By bringing her grandmother and mother's recipes to the people of New York, she began to feel at home again.  She created a community of people who loved her cooking and were passionate about healthily, wholesome food.

"Superfine Tiffins is made for the New Yorker who wants to eat healthy nutritious meals prepared thoughtfully and with love.  All ingredients are organic and local sourced. Every customer is like family to us," says Harpreet Sohal.

Superfine Tiffins offers exceptional tiffin delivery service and catering.

Harpreet and her husband work tirelessly to bring healthy organic meals to your doorstep!
